Integrating science, technology, climate resiliency, engineering, the arts, and math helps develop the kinds of skills that creates collaboration and problem-solving.
We host one beach cleanup per month with the help of community volunteers. After Hurricane Ian we have witnessed a tremendous increase in coastal debris. The average amount of debris collected per cleanup is around 178 pounds.

We partner with local organizations and early learning centers to help their gardens thrive or start one from scratch. The priority is for kids to learn to grow and harvest their own food because kids that grow fruits and veggies eat them!

We host reef cleanup throughout Southwest Florida's artificial reefs and surrounding areas thanks to the help of Scuba Marco in Marco Island, Florida and H2O Offshore Adventures in Fort Myers, FL. On average we pick up over 400 pounds of marine debris per trip.

To raise awareness about coastal pollution and the importance of protecting marine ecosystems we've partnered with Florida Gulf Coast University to create art sculptures from the debris we've collected to inspire a more sustainable community.

We work with community leaders and other organizations to develop climate resiliency plans focused on adaptation strategies and risk reduction measures.
Ages 18 +
We have partnerships with local agencies and organizations to help provide health resources in Spanish and in Creole to our Hispanic and Haitian community members in Southwest Florida.

Native plants are easier on the environment, as they eliminate the need for fertilizers and pesticides, and require little or no supplemental water. In our gardens we try to have a section specifically for natives to thrive wildly and allow a space for critters to flourish.

We believe in the importance of increasing and protecting the native butterfly and bee population and make sure that our gardens are free from pesticides to ensure their survival.

Our coastline vegetation is the first line of defense during an extreme weather event. Replanting these plants help us become more climate resilience.

Our early learning programs will provide an enriching experience that lays the foundation for lifetime learning. Fueling discovery and expanding the understanding of environmental science in children.

Our coalition of caring volunteers provides the vision, inspiration, resources, and strategies needed to make an environmental difference. Including cleanups, gardening, and teaching opportunities.

By acknowledging environmentally sustainable practices we help share the businesses that focus their efforts in prioritize climate resiliency and natural resources.
Green Business Recognition Award
To help the next generation create new ideas and solutions to a more sustainable planet we are investing in teachers. The THEO STREAM Teacher Literacy Program provides tools and knowledge for professional development, instructional resources for the classroom and virtual classroom.
